Shrimpfinity: Fairgrounds St Pete

Something exciting has hit the Fairgrounds St Pete. A new expansion called, Shrimpfinity created by MILARGOS Collective!


In this blog we share our experience previewing Shrimpfinity and the many other wonderful exhibits at the Fairgrounds St Pete.


We were invited to visit the Fairgrounds St. Pete, an incredibly cool and immersive art museum that left us in awe. This unique museum showcases the quirky and extraordinary side of our beloved state, Florida. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with an atmosphere that was both fun and interactive, making our experience truly unforgettable. We found ourselves constantly saying to each other, "Whoa, how cool!" as we discovered one captivating exhibit after another.



Strawberry Lovers

Immerse yourself in the world of strawberries as you explore the various interactive displays. Engage your sense of touch as you run your fingers along textured strawberry sculptures, allowing the details to come alive beneath your fingertips. Get lost in the fragrance of fresh strawberries that fills the air, giving memories of summer and sweetness. As you explore this exhibit, keep an eye out for a strawberry cow and if you find it, shhhhh!


Come Dance Under The Shrimp Disco

As we entered the Shrimpfinity exhibit, we were greeted by a breathtaking 6-foot-tall shrimp cocktail sculpture that immediately caught our attention. Its intricate details and vibrant colors made it a true work of art. It was a sight to behold, and we couldn't help but be amazed by the creativity and craftsmanship behind it as well as the details on the walls.


The highlight of the night was the Shrimp Disco! Yes, you read that right, a disco dedicated entirely to shrimp. It was unlike anything we had ever seen before. Once you're there, take a moment and close your eyes and you'll hear the sounds of real shrimp. It really added a surreal and captivating element to the atmosphere. It was as if we were transported to an underwater world, dancing among the shrimp themselves. It was shrimply an experience we will never forget!



Family Friendly

Fairgrounds St. Pete not only showcases incredible art but also fosters a sense of community and connection. We had the chance to meet and interact with other visitors, sharing our excitement and amazement at the exhibits. The museum provides a space where people of all ages can come together, laugh, and appreciate the beauty and quirkiness of Florida's artistic scene. They take the concept of traditional museums to a whole new level. The exhibits are designed to fully engage and immerse visitors in the art, creating an interactive and exciting environment. We were encouraged to touch, play, and even become part of the exhibits themselves, making it a truly hands-on experience.
